Federal Bureau of Investigation officials are trying to find a person who, they say, wrote antisemitic graffiti on a Department of Defense contractor's building in State College before attempting to burn it down.

Students were arrested Monday evening after occupying Morrill Hall on the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus.

The protesters created barricades and trapped staff inside Morrill Hall, which houses the office of the president.

One person was arrested after UCLA campus police ordered those attending an “unauthorized demonstration” to disperse Monday evening. The pro-Palestine demonstration featured about 40 people, UCLA police said,

Pro-Palestinian protesters took over Morrill Hall Monday afternoon, the building that houses the university's administrative offices. The action follows last spring when protesters camped out on the mall for days.

Several hundred pro-Palestine protestors gathered at Morrill Hall to push the U to divest from companies with ties to Israel.
