MLB insider Ken Rosenthal noted on Monday that the Red Sox entertaining a trade for a disgruntled Rafael Devers isn't 'far-fetched'.

However, when first baseman Triston Casas suffered a ruptured tendon in his left knee last week and was ruled out for the season, the Red Sox again needed some help. The team approached Devers about a switch from DH to first base to replace Casas. His response? More of the same.

Throughout the course of the season, dozens of players win Player of the Week honors. But there will probably only be one who did it the same week he called out his general manager. Maybe we shouldn't make sweeping generalizations.
