(Reuters) -Russian drones killed two people on Monday in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, regional governor Oleksander Prokudin said. Prokudin, writing on the Telegram messaging app, said a woman was killed in the region's main town, also known as Kherson, and a man died in an area north of the city along the Dnipro River.

A Ukrainian MiG-29 likely destroyed a Russian crossing in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region with two precise airstrike bombs, according to Militarnyi. The strike was reportedly carried out by a MiG-29 fighter jet armed with two American GBU-62 bombs equipped with JDAM-ER precision guidance and extended-range kits.
