Israel announced Sunday that the bodies of three hostages were returned from Gaza and will be examined by forensic experts, as a fragile ceasefire entered its second month.

A convoy carrying the bodies of Israeli hostages arrived at the national forensic institute in Tel Aviv on Sunday (November 2). Hamas handed over the bodies, even as the Palestinian militant group traded blame with Israel for violations of the tenuous truce that has mostly halted two years of war.
