Verizon has enabled non-emergency texting for customers with the Pixel 9 series and Galaxy S25 series devices.

Verizon's fixed a major bug in their text messaging website that let anyone find out a subscriber's phone number and view their private messages.

Verizon customers can text "OFF" to 4040 to block email-to-text messages, more than 80% of which are identified as spam, the carrier said.
