Leaders of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives have introduced a bill for temporary US government funding. The document outlines government financing through the end of September, according to ABC News.

With less than a week to go before a March 14 shutdown deadline, it is not clear if Republicans have the votes to pass the continuing resolution unveiled Saturday.

The proposal would fund the government through September, and mostly maintain levels of spending passed during the last administration.
