After several months of speculation, Pete Carroll has his quarterback in Las Vegas. On Friday afternoon, Carroll's Raiders agreed to a stunning deal to acquire Geno Smith from Carroll's former team, the Seattle Seahawks.

After rejuvenating his career with the Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Geno Smith is reportedly headed elsewhere. The Seahawks are trading Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders for a third-round draft pick, according to a Friday afternoon report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Raiders landed the veteran quarterback they’ve so desperately sought over the last month since hiring coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek.
