The app confirmed that roughly 72,000 images were exposed on the controversial imageboard, including 13,000 selfies and pictures of official photo ID.

Hackers have breached the Tea app, which recently went viral as a place for women to safely talk about men, and tens of thousands of women’s selfies and photo IDs have now seemingly been leaked online.

The images had been in a "legacy data system" that contained information from more than two years ago, the company says.
