HONOLULU (KHON2) — A barricade situation on Sand Island Access Road resulted in an officer-involved shooting that killed the suspect on June 22, the Honolulu Police Department said.

LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation and believes the incident occurred in the 6900 block of Brooklawn Drive. Investigators said they do not have any suspects at this time.
