Backup Kenny Pickett will likely get the start as quarterback after the Eagles officially ruled Jalen Hurts out from Sunday's game as he heals from a concussion and left finger injury.

On Friday, head coach Nick Sirianni provided an update on his team’s signal caller, and implied that it was looking like he’d be out for at least another week. " [Hurts] is still in the protocol. It's going to be tough for him to make it this week," Sirianni told reporters.

Jalen Hurts is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, forcing the Eagles to play against Dallas without their star quarterback.
