Avatar: Fire and Ash' is moving though production faster than even its director expected, and that that is good news for the franchise.

Director James Cameron, for his upcoming sci-fi sequel Avatar: Fire and Ash, in the Avatar film franchise, talks about making "brave choices" in an interview with Empire.

Cameron makes particular reference to the new character Varang, who will be played by Oona Chaplin in Avatar: Fire and Ash. She's the leader of a clan of Na'vi who are volcano-dwelling, rather than being in the air or sea. He spoke more to Empire about that newcomer, offering:
