Two central Michigan men — one of whom allegedly fled to Texas and Mexico after an armed robbery — were arrested after leading police on a car chase through multiple counties, officials said.

Troopers say the passenger involved in the chase through Carroll County got out of the moving vehicle while holding a child.

The vehicle — believed to have been stolen earlier in the day from West Memphis — did not stop, leading to a chase that continued into Memphis, even after officers deployed stop sticks on it, records show.
