Mike McCarthy says he "absolutely" wants to return as the coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones has dropped multiple hints that McCarthy would be back, but the team owner was far from definitive about McCarthy's future after a 23-19 loss to Washington on Sunday closed out a 7-10 season.

As long as we have opened the door to those suing the league (something Jerry pursued long before any of these candidates), the former Dolphins head coach is a worthy candidate. He would also allow the Cowboys to (belatedly) break the color barrier at head coach.
