The USWNT will kick off the new year with a camp in Southern California and a new-look strategy aimed at player development

Hayes, as promised, will continue to explore the depth of the goalkeeping pool following Alyssa Naeher’s retirement, calling up Angelina Anderson and Claudia Dickey for their first caps. In addition, defenders Nealy Martin, Tara McKeown and Ryan Williams, plus forward Ella Stevens, round out the six new players to the USWNT environment.

Ashley Hatch has been called up to the U.S. women’s national soccer team’s January training camp roster. Hatch didn’t suit up for the team at all last year and last played for the national team on Dec. 5, 2023, against China. Over the course of her career, Hatch, a former BYU Cougar, has played in 22 games for the national team, scoring five goals.

The United States women's national team will gather for a January training camp at Dignity Health Sports Park in California, marking a comeback for the winter gathering after no January camp in 2024.

Emma Hayes named her 24-player roster for the U.S. women’s national team Futures Camp this week, providing another glimpse into her long-term strategy for the program. The camp features players younger than 23 years old and will run parallel to the January camp for senior national team players next week in Carson, Calif.

USWNT coach Emma Hayes will hold a training camp with both the senior team and a youth-based squad, which features 14 professional players and 10 college players. In total, 17 members of the squad have youth national team experience at World Cups,
