Mere moments after Canelo Alvarez won his May 3 fight against William Scull, pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford entered the ring to face off with him. This finalized what has been the worst-kept secret in the boxing world over the past few months: That Canelo and Crawford are going to fight later this year.

Terence Crawford and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will be going head-to-head with UFC for their September showdown — abruptly throwing TKO's involvement with the fight into question.

After that fight, Canelo and Crawford had a face-off inside the ring, with it announced that the two men would do battle at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday 12 September. There has been a major update though, after Mike Coppinger reported that the date of the fight has changed, and that the location is also now up in the air.
