After splitting the first two games of this three-game series, the Chicago Cubs (67-49) and St. Louis Cardinals (59-59) wrap things up on Sunday evening.

The Chicago Cubs are in rebound mode as they go into Saturday’s Game 2 against the St. Louis Cardinals looking to get on the board with a win, or even just a run after being shut out in Friday night’s series opener.

After Friday night’s result, the Cubs are second in the National League Central, four games back of the Milwaukee Brewers for first in the division. Chicago does hold the first Wild Card spot in the NL, 3.5 games ahead of the New York Mets, who sit third in the WC standings.
