Midlakes band students put in a rigorous day recently recording several pieces with professional recording engineer Mark Morette.

His tenure defies term limits, making Maniscalco the second-most senior member of the board, behind only City Council mainstay Charlie Miranda, who has served at various points since the 1970s.
