Amazon and PlayStation are going back to Level 1 and starting from scratch with their TV adaptation of the video-game franchise "God of War." "God of War" showrunner and executive producer Rafe Judkins and EPs Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus have exited the series.

Sony’s God of War TV show currently in-development at Amazon is reportedly getting a reboot two years after it was first announced. The adaptation has lost its showrunner and head producer as the companies reportedly look to take the existing scripts in a different creative direction.

The God of War television series adaptation is going back to square one. It was announced in 2022 that Prime Video had officially ordered a God of War live-action television series based on PlayStation‘s popular video game of the same name.
