Ava Moore, 18, was killed Sunday after a woman driving a jet ski ran into her as she was kayaking on Grapevine Lake, officials said.

Funeral services will be held for 18-year-old Ava Moore on Saturday after she was hit and killed by a jet ski while kayaking on Grapevine Lake during Memorial Day weekend.

Ava Moore, 18, was kayaking at the lake on May 25 when she was struck and killed by a jet ski with two women on it, police said. Her funeral is Saturday afternoon at a church in Fort Worth.
