While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points, it was Jalen Williams who led the Thunder in scoring with 40 on 14-for-25 shooting, 3-for-5 from deep and 9-for-12 from the free-throw line. The Thunder now head to Indiana with hopes of clinching their first NBA Championship and closing out the series.

Well, this sucks. Tyrese Haliburton was clearly not at 100 percent in Game 5 against the Thunder on Tuesday, and now Shams Charania of ESPN has confirmed that Indiana's star suffered a strained right calf and will have an MRI to determine how severe the injury is.

The Indiana Pacers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5, but it wasn't due to a lack of effort from their backup point guard.

With the Thunder leaning into what they do best, they are now one win away from the NBA title — and feel inevitable at this point.
