Federal officials say the New Orleans attacker acted alone, but are probing any links to the Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas.

Turo, the car rental app used to rent vehicles involved in both the New Years Day New Orleans attack and Las Vegas explosion released a statement Thursday saying it was "heartbroken" over the violence and working with investigators on both deadly cases.

The FBI says it now believes the man behind the deadly New Year's Day attack in New Orleans worked alone. Meanwhile, a truck explosion outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas is being investigated as a possible act of terrorism.
