Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday that his party will remove the 50 per cent cap on the reservation when it comes to power.

"The Constitution is under constant attack from all sides, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, and it needs to be protected," Gandhi alleged while addressing 'Samvidhan Samman Sammelan' in Ranchi ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly polls.

Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of attacking the Constitution and controlling key institutions. He emphasized the need for a caste census and criticized the BJP's treatment of tribals.

Rahul Gandhi asserted that the BJP is undermining the Constitution by controlling institutions like the Election Commission, CBI, and judiciary. He vowed that the caste census and removing the 50 per cent reservation cap are unstoppable.
