SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Rite Aid has filed for bankruptcy, and its pharmacies will close across the county. In New York State, 178 stores will close. Some of these stores are located in Central New York, specifically in Syracuse.
UR Medicine is advising more than 1,500 patients who use Rite Aid pharmacies to move their prescriptions to other pharmacies in advance of the drug store chain closing its doors.
