Strictly Come Dancing, the long-running British reality competition that inspired the U.S. hit Dancing with the Stars, crowned RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alumna Tayce as the winner of its Christmas special.

Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas champion Tayce Szura-Radix is reportedly lined up for the main series.

Tayce Szura-Radix is a 30-year-old professional drag queen and model from Wales. She first shot to prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK – which in itself proved to be a notable season as filming was forced into postponement due to the Covid pandemic.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Kai Widdrington lifted the winners' trophy during Wednesday's Christmas special. The dancer had been partnered with drag performer Tayce, who in the run-up to the festive special has addressed backlash to their sign-up.
