The Riverside County sheriff told TV station 9NEWS that the investigation into Jeff Sperbeck's death after a fall from a golf cart found nothing criminal.

Sperbeck died in April in a golf-cart incident. Sperbeck reportedly fell out of the golf cart — which Elway was reportedly driving — and hit his head on the asphalt. He was taken to a local medical center, where he died. Sperbeck was 62.
