Kody Clemens doubled home the game-winning run with two out in the ninth inning as the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians 6-5 in the resumption of a suspended game.

Rain suspended the Twins-Guardians game on Monday and plans for a doubleheader Tuesday were wiped out by rain, but the division rivals were able to get back on the field on Wednesday — and the end result was Kody Clemens delivering a walk-off double.

In a make-up game delayed from the night of Monday, May 19, due to inclement weather, the Guardians and Twins resumed the same game on Wednesday. As the bad weather persisted into Tuesday, that game was also rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon and started just 30 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.
