Tony Bennett's sudden retirement put the University of Virginia in an extremely awkward position. The men's college basketball season begins in just a few weeks. By now, Bennett has run a camp with his players and begun formulating plans for the upcoming season.

Bennett finished 364-136 with UVA, leading the program to two ACC Tournament titles, six ACC regular-season championships and 10 NCAA Tournament appearances and a national title in 2019.
