A pre-cooked meat producer which announced a recall last week is expanding its recall of ready-to-eat poultry products sold at grocery stores, including Walmart, Trader Joe's and Aldi

A recall of nearly 10 million pounds of meat issued last week by BrucePac has affected brands like Dole and stores like Kroger across the U.S.

Affected BrucePac ready-to-eat meat and poultry items were produced in Durant, Oklahoma, between June 19, 2024 and October 8, 2024. The company said in a statement that it is working closely with the USDA to notify consumers and distributors and ensure “all necessary actions are taken to ensure a safe food supply.”
