The city of Alexandria said Thursday it and a coalition of partners will open a warming station at the Bolton Avenue Community Center at 6 p.m. Sunday.

COLFAX, La. (KALB) - A man has been arrested in Colfax following an investigation into the theft of a vehicle in Alexandria. The Colfax Police Department reports that Zackery Warren, 28, was located on Horseshoe Drive with the vehicle. CPD responded to the location and detained him.

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - An Alexandria man has been accused of selling meth out of his motel room located at 1000 MacArthur Drive, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office. RPSO said its Rapides Area Drug Enforcement Unit received complaints about Russell Paul Marceaux, 46, allegedly selling the meth.
