The San Francisco 49ers checked off a major offseason to-do last week when they signed superstar tight end George Kittle to a massive contract worth $76.4 million, locking the six-time Pro-Bowler up for years to come while making him the highest-paid TE in the NFL.

During the 2024 NFL season, Kittle continued playing at a very high level. He appeared in 15 games, catching 78 passes for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns. Even at 31 years old, he's still one of the best tight ends in the league.

The San Francisco 49ers made many roster sacrifices this offseason as they financially prepare themselves to sign quarterback Brock Purdy to a huge contract extension. Though, the former Mr. Irrelevant is not the only offensive talent they are prioritizing.
