Batman, joined by Black Lightning, sought to resolve the conflict and encountered the rest of the founding members of The Outsiders along the way: Metamorpho, Katana, Geo-Force, and Halo.

The plot in Batman and the Outsiders is the definite weak link at this early stage. But luckily, the series succeeds in other areas. It makes the most of its small but intriguing cast of characters.
