The company known for its news and sports TV content said Tuesday it’s aiming to launch a subscription streaming service by the end of the year.

Fox Corp. Executive Chairman Lachlan Murdoch told Wall Street analysts Tuesday that his company will launch a direct-to-consumer streaming product that will draw on its news and sports assets.

Lachlan Murdoch: “this service will be a package of our existing content on our existing brands targeted to consumers that are not currently in the bundle”
