In a newly released three-hour interview, Moscow-born U.S. podcaster Lex Fridman tried to persuade President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “a serious person who loves his country.

Volodymyr Zelensky has clashed with an American podcaster who suggested Vladimir Putin should be forgiven as part of a compromise that leads to a peace deal.

In a recent interview, Ukrainian President Zelensky proposed using the $300 billion in frozen Russian assets to buy U.S. weapons for Ukraine's defense. This would serve as a security guarantee in potential peace negotiations.
