In just under 24 hours, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks and No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes will renew their rivalry when the Big Ten foes meet Wednesday in Pasadena in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals at the Rose Bowl.

Not even the Granddaddy of Them All can remain unchanged by the 12-team College Football Playoff. Oregon and Ohio State can't participate in much of the traditional Rose Bowl pageantry because the oldest bowl game is serving as a CFP quarterfinal this year.
