Morikawa is trying to shake things up by changing caddies yet again. He parted ways with longtime caddie J.J. Jakovac in April and split with veteran caddie Joe Greiner ahead of his appearance in Motor City after just five events together.

Prior to Greiner, J.J. Jakovac served as Morikawa's caddie from 2019 until their split in April. Jakovac was on the bag for each of Morikawa's six PGA Tour wins, including The Open in 2021 and a PGA Championship in 2020.

“Ask me anything you want in my press conference later, I’m with my pro-am partners now,” Morikawa was quoted saying in Schupak’s report, which has since been updated to include the golfer’s most recent comments, according to Awful Announcing.
