A furious Conor Benn had to be held back by security after his opponent Chris Eubank Jr. smashed an egg across his face during their extraordinary boxing match face-off on Tuesday.

At a boxing face-off with his 26th of April opponent Conor Benn, whom he fights at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, the boxers could be seen exchanging heated words on stage. Eubank then strikes Benn across the face and the slow-motion replay shows that the egg in his hand exploded onto Benn's cheek.

Chris Eubank Jr smashed an egg into Conor Benn's face at a press conference in Manchester on Tuesday, two months before their showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A much-hyped fight between the sons of two former British arch-rivals was called off in 2022 when Benn returned a finding for trace amounts of fertility drug clomifene.
