One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting Sunday in Fort Worth, police say. Officers were dispatched about 3 p.m. to a home in the 4900 block of Gordon Avenue, near Seminary Hill Park, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

A man was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in northwest Fort Worth, police said. Officers responded to the 3100 block of Ray Simon Drive around 4 p.m. after someone said their boyfriend had been shot by a stranger, according to the 911 call log. The area is a residential neighborhood not far from Interstate 35W.
