Jonathan Kuminga's immediate future is up in the air at the start of free agency this offseason, and that might mean a return to the Golden State Warriors.

While a return to Golden State is still possible, multiple teams are jockeying for position to land Kuminga in a sign-and-trade with the Warriors. The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls were named as the two most likely Kuminga landing spots,

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors have tendered the $7.9 million qualifying offer to Kuminga, making him a restricted free agent for the summer. The Warriors will now have the right to match any offer Kuminga receives in free agency. The Warriors could also seek different sign-and-trade options with Kuminga.
