Friends, family and former teammates gathered for the funeral of Liverpool FC soccer star Diogo Jota and his brother, soccer player André Silva, in their hometown of Gondoma, Portugal, on Saturday, July 5.

Mr. Jota and his brother André Silva died in Spain, the authorities said. The crash came two weeks after the Portuguese player’s wedding.
