Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is in his 22nd NBA season, and regularly acknowledges he does not have much time left in the league. In pursuit of a fifth NBA championship before retiring, James has an uphill battle to achieve that with a Lakers team that is 22-18 through 40 games.

Speaking with the media after a 116-102 loss to their cross-town rival LA Clippers, in response to some questions from Dan Woike of the LA Times, the Lakers star bemoaned the fact that the Lakers can't tolerate much error, appearing to blame it on the way the team is constructed.

The Lakers are in the midst of a tense battle for a playoff spot in the Western Conference and LeBron James is feeling the pressure. He knows that his team has a small margin for error every time they step on the court.

The Los Angeles Clippers gave the Los Angeles Lakers a rude welcome on their first visit to Intuit Dome on Sunday after scoring a convincing 116-102 win. The Lakers are now 5-5 in their last 10 games and dropped to 22-18. Even the return of Anthony Davis from a one-game absence wasn't enough, as they got buried by as much as 26 points.
