During the eighth episode of season 3, which premiered on Thursday, June 5, Georgia ( Brianne Howey) started to lose hope of getting out of prison. She was put behind bars after trying to run away amid her trial — even though she turned herself in.

As it turns out, Mallard played a character loosely based on the pop star in the 2018 sitcom, Happy Together. In the little-known series, Mallard portrayed up-and-coming musician Cooper James, who moves in with a 30-something suburban couple.

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, Georgia got married to Paul at the end of season 2 — only to get arrested for murder. The third season proved that Joe was the only one of Georgia’s love interests who stood by her through highs and lows. It led to Georgia finally admitting all the crimes she committed to Joe to prove how much she trusted him.
