Qualcomm is developing a new high-end chipset that will be positioned below the Snapdragon 8 Elite (and even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3).

A tipster claims that Qualcomm is starting to test its alleged "Snapdragon 8s Elite" and its core setup has supposedly been leaked. The chip may arrive with a 1+3+2+2 array like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with one Prime core at 3.21GHz.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite codenamed SM8735, has recently garnered attention due to its appearance on Geekbench, showcasing detailed performance metrics. An early Geekbench listing revealed that its cutting-edge CPU architecture comprises one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.

Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite late last year. The chipset quickly established itself as the most powerful in the Android industry. The implementation of the new custom Oryon cores is largely responsible for this.
