A private plane approaching an airport crashed in a San Diego neighborhood, killing the six people on board, including groundbreaking alternative music executive Dave Shapiro.

Billboard has learned the identities of all six individuals killed in a fiery jet crash early Thursday morning (May 22) in San Diego, California.

The airport also had filed a notice to pilots called a Notam, informing them that one of the runways had experienced an issue with the lighting system that guides landing planes.
