VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A family of four has been displaced following a house fire in Virginia Beach on Saturday. At approximately 5 p.m., crews with Virginia Beach Fire Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Clovis Court for a reported residential fire.

With much uncertainty about the future of Ukraine, members of the local Ukrainian Community and supporters held a rally at Mount Trashmore Sunday to let their voices be heard.

The fire was reported at 4:58 p.m., according to a press release from the Virginia Beach Fire Department. A house in the 300 block of Clovis Court, in the Ocean Lakes section of the city, was found to have heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof when crews arrived at 5:03 p.m.

Six adults were displaced after two townhomes caught fire in Virginia Beach on Saturday afternoon, according to officials.
