Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Secretary Manoj Pant and Home Secretary Nandini Chakraborty on Saturday visited the protest site where junior doctors are observing fast-unto-death over demands for justice for the deceased medic at a state-run hospital and workplace security.

Junior doctors in West Bengal have been on a hunger strike for 15 days over the death of a colleague and workplace security issues. The protest seeks action from the state government by October 21. Theater personalities have shown support.
