The National Weather Service has simplified some of its winter weather alerts for Wind Chill and Extreme Cold Warnings.

Sunny and chilly on Friday. Mostly cloudy Saturday, but dry until after dark. Spotty light rain Saturday night and Sunday turns widespread Sunday night through Monday.
