You don’t need to spend hours and hours to get to the hard parts. You already have movement, prayer, attack, and general game tick knowledge that some people don’t have when first starting cg.

There are definitely great free tutorial, but I will say that the CG cookie tutorials are consistently very systematic, well thought out, and usually well-paced. Information is often provided in a way that emphasizes why the tool is being used, rather than presenting methods as a recipe.
