Lilly Singh's talk show is the worst talk show i've ever seen. Terribly un funny jokes and not meant for late night or any type of time at all, really. I don't know what the hell NBC was thinking.

Feb 24, 2021 · In the comedy world, Lilly Singh is toxic. But since I'm a man I guess I'm just really really sexist... It couldn't POSSIBLY be that I've seen Joan Rivers or Bonnie McFarlane do stand-up and I know what a funny female comedian uses as material (hint: stop talking about the fact you're a woman, it makes your whole act predictable).

Lilly Singh made videos for children. She was very obviously aiming her videos towards adolescents. However, pretty much all of the popular "family/kid friendly" makers on normal YouTube dgaf about the age of their audience.

May 16, 2023 · I honestly think Content Creation is not a long term career. The idea is to take advantage of that brief period where you are making money and getting famous and then use that money and fanbase and branch out. Lilly Singh is awfully good at that. Her books are absolute trash, but her fan base has managed to make it a bestseller.

While I cringe at Lilly Singh’s monotonous content, and am impressed with Hassan Minaj’s success, I have stopped watching his stuff. Primarily because it’s inflammatory in a different way & screams attention. I like some of the topics he brings up, but majority of the time he is like an ultra liberal parroting the same rhetoric.

May 6, 2021 · Lilly was making short, comedy sketch videos, aimed at teenagers. This style of comedy doesn’t necessarily translate well to a 20+ minute late night talk show. And the target audience that usually watches late night talk shows, isn’t the same as the demographic that watches her YouTube videos.

May 12, 2023 · However, I do have one issue with the show, Lilly Singh. I feel like having a strong human lead in is relatively important, and she just doesn’t hold the weight she needs to. Considering her past experience consists of acting in terrible YouTube skits for children, I’m a little surprised she even got cast.

Sep 25, 2019 · As for Lilly Singh, I think the fact that they gave her Carson Daly's time slot is the real oppression. Who's Daly's audience exactly? She may do amazing for that time slot, but I can't help but think NBC will eventually just use that space for infomercials.
