To address a rise in dangerous contraband and drug-related homicides, TDCJ implemented a lockdown and comprehensive search of all correctional facilities. During this time, inmates continue to receive access to nutritious meals; education, religious, and treatment programming; medical services; respite; and phone and tablet systems.
