I see a lot of grandiose people in my work, and distinguishing between grandiosity and narcissism is essential. They are not one and the same. As Dr. Ramani says here, grandiosity isn't the sole indicator of a narcissist. We must look beyond that. Where's their level of empathy? Someone can be grandiose and entitled and have what I call "blunted empathy" rather than a complete lack of it. And such people can reconnect to that empathy.
